FITUR 2026 opens its doors to the traveler on the weekend

Madrid,.- The 46th edition of the International Tourism Fair concludes its first three days, dedicated exclusively to professionals, with a positive balance that reflects the excellent tourism performance and the forecast that it will continue in 2026. After three days of business and knowledge-oriented professionals, FITUR opens its doors to travelers on the weekend, who will be able to obtain information on a wide range of destinations thanks to the participation of 161 countries, 111 of them with official representation, as well as enjoy a varied agenda of activities prepared by the exhibitors.

This opening to the general public reinforces the positioning of FITUR as a global showcase for tourism and as a direct connection point between destinations, companies and final travelers. With Mexico as the Partner Country, during Saturday, January 24th and Sunday, January 25th, FITUR 2026 will offer a specific program aimed at travelers, with experiential activities, cultural presentations, gastronomic proposals and interactive spaces that will bring the diversity and richness of world tourism closer to the general public.

This edition highlights the replica of the Grand Egyptian Museum recently inaugurated in the core between Pavilion 2-4; the XVI Minube Travelers Meeting in Pavilion 10, which brings together with Nico Abad as master of ceremonies and Kandy García 'The backpacker grandma' as special guest to more than a thousand people; the free tours through FITUR by Civitatis; the traditional FITUR Cruises gymkhana, as well as multiple musical performances, regional dances, gastronomic tastings, craft workshops and interesting contests and raffles, etc.
