According to the joint anti-doping program of Major League Baseball (MLB) and the Players Association, the appeal process takes place before any official public announcement is made regarding disciplinary measures. This means that, while the challenge is being resolved, a definitive sanction has not been issued. Rojas, 25 years old, debuted in the Major Leagues in 2023. He was recently excluded from the Dominican Republic roster for the World Baseball Classic, according to team general manager Nelson Cruz. In the previous season, the outfielder batted .224, with one home run, 18 RBIs, and 12 stolen bases. He was sent to Triple-A (Lehigh Valley) on August 1st and did not play with the major league team for the rest of the campaign. During the current spring training, he has one hit in 11 at-bats. Lifetime in MLB, Rojas has a .252 average, with six home runs, 73 RBIs, and 51 stolen bases in 250 games. So far, neither the player nor the organization has issued any further official statements while the appeal process continues.
