Santo Domingo. - The Dominican Republic's Meteorology Institute (INDOMET) discontinued the meteorological alerts, while it forecasts some showers and possible thunderstorms in provinces such as Hato Mayor, El Seibo, Duarte, Monte Plata, Monseñor Nouel, La Vega, Santiago, Espaillat, Puerto Plata, Valverde, Santiago Rodríguez, San Juan, Elías Piña and María Trinidad Sánchez, among other areas. In other news, the old frontal system has already moved away from our territory.
However, for tomorrow Tuesday, from early morning, isolated showers are forecast in towns on the Atlantic coast, extending until the early morning hours. In the afternoon, the prefrontal trough will affect the Dominican territory, which, combined with local effects, will favor the development of cloudiness with some showers towards provinces such as Santo Domingo, San Pedro de Macorís, San Cristóbal, Santiago, La Vega, Santiago Rodríguez, Espaillat, Puerto Plata, Monte Cristi and surrounding areas. These precipitations could last until the early evening hours.
