Argentina.- Overwhelmed by euphoria, Argentine President Javier Milei offered a rock concert in Buenos Aires this Monday, alongside his associates and a large crowd of young people, while his government and party face a complex political and economic scenario on the eve of the legislative elections on October 26th.
The show, in which they performed songs by well-known artists, preceded the presentation of a book written by Milei entitled "L
a Construcción del Milagro", at the Movistar Arena, a well-known venue in the Argentinian capital that hosts important local and international artists.
Dressed entirely in black and with a leather jacket, Milei entered the stadium like a rock star and walked among a crowd that swarmed him.
As soon as he took the stage, the show began with a modified version of the song 'Panic Show' by the band La Renga, which has practically become an anthem for the president and his followers.
"Hello everyone, I am the lion" and "I am the king and I will destroy you, the whole caste is to my liking", sang Milei, while jumping and dancing non-stop.
The repertoire of the official, who sang unrestrainedly for almost an hour, included 'Demoliendo Hoteles', by Charly García; 'Rock del Gato', by Ratones Paranoicos; and 'Blues del Equipaje', by La Mississipi.
Between songs, Milei interacted with the audience, who chanted phrases like "Milei, dear, the people are with you", "president, president" or "freedom, freedom".
The show featured several musicians, including politicians and those close to the president, such as deputies Lilia Lemoine and Alberto Benegas Lynch, senatorial candidate Joaquín Benegas Lynch, and the president's biographer, Marcelo Duclos.
Milei's show, which was rebroadcast on YouTube, continued with the songs 'No me arrepiento de este amor' and 'Dame Fuego', by Ataque 77, and 'Libre', by Nino Bravo. It also included musicalized electoral messages, both in favor of his party and against the Peronist opposition and specifically against former president Cristina Fernández (2007-2015).
