They claim that with the presence of Haitians in an irregular migratory condition, criminal acts in the demarcation have increased

Padre Las Casas, Azua. – Residents of the El Jobo community of the Padre Las Casas municipality, in Azua, captured and tied up this Friday a Haitian citizen, identified as the main suspect in the death of a woman of the same nationality, which occurred the previous day in that locality.

The arrest was carried out by the community members themselves, who, dismayed and outraged by the act, tied the man with ropes and kept him in custody while awaiting the arrival of the authorities. The residents expressed their concern about the growing climate of insecurity in the area and denounced the large number of undocumented Haitian citizens who, they claim, reside in El Jobo, which would be contributing to the increase in criminal acts.
