Fire affects Caletón villas in Cap Cana; no injuries reported

Cap Cana.- The destination city Cap Cana reported that on the afternoon of this Wednesday, a fire was recorded in the area of the Caletón villas, considered the first residential constructions of that tourist project, built mainly of wood and with cane roofs. The fire mobilized the Fire Department and other local authorities, who are carrying out the corresponding work to extinguish the flames and prevent their spread to other residential areas.

So far, no injuries or fatalities have been reported. Authorities indicated that, once the fire is completely extinguished, an investigation will be carried out to determine the causes of the incident.
