Israel kills 43 Gazans in new attacks on Tuesday, including children

Jerusalem.- The Israeli army killed at least 43 Gazans, according to medical sources, in concentrated bombings in the northern city of Gaza this Tuesday, in which children were also killed.

Five Palestinians, including three minors, died this afternoon when warplanes attacked a group of people near a mosque in the Zeitun neighborhood in Gaza City, confirmed medical sources cited by the official Palestinian news agency Wafa.

Three more Gazans were killed in attacks on the southern city of Jan Yunis, while the bombing of a residential building claimed the lives of two brothers in the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza, according to local sources. Two Palestinians were killed and dozens were injured by fire from Israeli forces near an aid distribution point in Rafah, bringing to seven the number of Gazans killed today while trying to get food, according to the Gaza Ministry of Health.

Since October 2023, more than 59,100 Palestinians have died from Israeli fire, according to this ministry, although it is estimated that this is a conservative figure.

This record does not include thousands of possible indirect deaths due to illness, malnutrition - more than a hundred have already been recorded, the majority children - or lack of medical assistance due to the Israeli blockade of any type of supplies.
