President of the JRM SDE urges support for President Abinader

Santo Domingo Este. – The president of the Juventud Revolucionaria Moderna (JRM) in Santo Domingo Este, Robert Martínez “La Fiera”, made a call this Wednesday to all the perremeísta militancy to maintain unity and firmly defend the government's work of President Luis Abinader, against what he described as attacks and manipulations from the opposition.

Martínez pointed out that former President Leonel Fernández has tried to confuse the people with statements about food prices, even claiming that chicken costs 150 pesos. "That is not the reality. The truth is that FAO, a prestigious international organization, has congratulated President Luis Abinader for the reduction of hunger indices in the Dominican Republic," he said.

The youth leader highlighted that this international recognition is the result of teamwork led by the Minister of Agriculture, Limber Cruz, the director of the Economic Dining Halls, Edgar Félix, and the director of Inespre, David Herrera. "They have played a key role in ensuring the food security of the Dominican people," he added. Regarding the electrical issue, Martinez explained that the increase in consumption responds to economic growth and the purchasing power of families. "Today, in almost every home, there are one or two air conditioners, and in summer, when the heat is stronger, the demand for energy increases. The opposition cannot talk about an electrical crisis when they were the ones who left the country plunged into endless blackouts during the governments of Leonel Fernández and Danilo Medina," he stated. Finally, Robert Martínez “La Fiera” urged the PRM members not to be confused and to remain firm in the defense of Abinader's management. “This is the trump card that will take us beyond 2028. Unity, firmness, and defense of the government,” he concluded.
