Cibao Association and Visa present new Ci+ Card

The Ci+ Card is born with the aim of offering Dominicans a more modern, secure option with greater savings opportunities in their daily lives Santo Domingo.– Cibao Association and Visa presented their new Ci+ Card, a financial product designed for savings in consumption, with exclusive benefits, refunds, discounts and facilities to make purchases in millions of physical and digital stores around the world. In an official statement, both entities indicated that this financial solution, in addition to the commercial advantages, integrates state-of-the-art payment technology, high security standards, connected to the global Visa network with benefits designed to respond to the needs of the current consumer.

“The Ci+ Card represents our ongoing commitment to offer products that combine convenience, security, and real benefits for our customers. We have designed this card to accompany them in their day-to-day lives, facilitating their payments and generating savings opportunities with the support and trust of the Cibao Association in each transaction,” expressed Rebeca Meléndez, Executive Vice President of Business.

In turn, Gustavo Turquía, general manager of Visa Dominican Republic, highlighted: “At Visa we are proud to work with Asociación Cibao to bring customers a card that connects world-class technology with safer, more fluid, and global payment experiences. With Ci+, Visa cardholders access the acceptance network we have in more than 200 countries and territories, supported by innovations that drive inclusion and the digital experience”.

With the Ci+ card, Cibao Association customers will be able to enjoy up to a 10% discount in the categories of local ticketing and cinemas, 7% in supermarkets throughout the country and 5% at fuel stations, without restrictions on dates or specific businesses. Likewise, its advantages include discounts and refunds on purchases, digital and physical use, separate limits for national and international transactions, purchase protection and additional savings opportunities in international businesses. Thanks to Visa's global network, the new Ci+ Card allows payments to be made inside and outside the country, with high levels of security and an optimized digital experience. With this new card, Asociación Cibao reaffirms its commitment to offering financial solutions that simplify the lives of its clients and generate value in their day.
