Santiago.- Five people died burned on Monday night during a fire that destroyed a house in the alley Los Susos of the Don Pedro sector in Santiago.
The victims were identified as Luis Antonio Marte Vásquez, 52 years old, Yulenny Altagracia Marte Vásquez, 32 years old, and their children Luivi Marte Vásquez, 14 years old, Luis David Marte Vásquez, 9 years old, and Jael Sebastián Marte Vásquez, 6 years old.
The affected dwellings were built of block and wood and roofed with zinc.

The bodies of the deceased were sent to the National Institute of Forensic Sciences (INACIF) of Santiago to perform the corresponding autopsies. So far, the circumstances are unknown in which the fire occurred, while the authorities are conducting the corresponding investigations.
