Cotuí.- The Instruction Court of Sánchez Ramírez ruled on the afternoon of this Monday three months of preventive detention against a man accused of sexually assaulting a woman with a disability and physically assaulting her brother, who also has the same condition.
The event occurred in the community of La Cabirma, in the municipality of Cotuí.
The measure was imposed against William José Rondón Serrano, alias “Cachanga”, 36 years of age, who is accused of having sexually abused the young Ilonka Yocasta Carcaño Almazar, who suffers from a condition that makes it difficult for her to walk and limits her body mobility.

In addition, he is accused of physically assaulting the victim's brother, who also suffers from a disability and is bedridden.
"Cachanga" must comply with the coercive measure in the Palo Hincado Fortress, in Cotuí.
The request for the measure was presented by magistrate Juan Ventura Peguero Castillo, in his capacity as representative of the Public Ministry.
