SID Group reaffirms its commitment to education and promotes reading at the Cristo Rey Book Festival

Santo Domingo, R.D. – The culture and well-being of the communities, Grupo SID sponsors and actively participates in the First Cristo Rey Book Festival by Ediciones Toral and Plan Lea, held from May 30 to June 1 at Cristo Park. This event seeks to bring children, young people, and adults closer to the world of reading, through a varied cultural and literary program.

For Grupo SID, reading is much more than a habit: it is a fundamental tool that opens doors to knowledge, fosters creativity, and develops a deeper understanding of the world. With a view to impacting more than 200 children, volunteers from the SID Reading Club will be present at the festival to share reading sessions of the books “Frieda y los ODS” and “Explorando los ODS por un Mundo más Sostenible”.

Each participant will have the opportunity to take home a copy, reinforcing their bond with reading and their commitment to a more sustainable world. This experience will be complemented by interactive activities, such as painting on sustainability and product tastings, creating an educational, creative, and family-friendly environment.
