Santo Domingo. – The renowned Californian wines JUSTIN Vineyards & Winery return to the national market, relaunched within the framework of Wine Sessions, a high-profile event that brought together more than 600 wine lovers, executives from the banking, business and insurance sectors, held at the Intercontinental Hotel in Santo Domingo.
JUSTIN, originating from Paso Robles, California, are globally renowned for their oenological excellence, standing out in international competitions for their meticulous winemaking process, aging in French oak barrels, and exceptional balance. The vineyard was awarded "American Winery of the Year" by the renowned Wine Enthusiast magazine in 2015.
"We are very proud to once again bring these exceptional wines to the sophisticated palate of the Dominican consumer. JUSTIN represents the art of winemaking with precision, character, and elegance. Our mission is to offer memorable experiences to those who value quality in every glass," said Omar Faruk Elias, president of Elias Distribución, a company that also distributes FIJI Water locally.
Among the labels presented at Wine Sessions are: Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Isosceles, an emblematic signature blend of the winery, awarded in multiple editions of Wine Spectator and Wine Enthusiast.
Accompanying JUSTIN, select labels from Lewis Cellars were also presented, a renowned Napa Valley winery with a solid reputation for producing powerful, artisanal, and highly concentrated wines. Founded by former Formula 1 driver Randy Lewis, this family-owned winery has been celebrated by specialized critics and has a prominent presence in the rankings of the best wines in the United States, including Wine of the Year by the prestigious Wine Spectator magazine in 2016.
In this occasion, it was possible to taste: Napa Chardonnay, an elegant, structured and vibrant wine with great varietal expression, Alec Blend, a complex red wine, full-bodied and with deep notes, ideal for demanding palates.
