Toribio explained that the bullet pierced an important part of the leg's system, specifically the major vein, which made surgical intervention necessary. However, he indicated that his health is currently stable. "He came out of surgery a few hours ago and is in the recovery room, and we hope that he continues with a positive evolution as until now," he added. The lawyer also confirmed that the version they are handling so far is that it was an assault, ruling out rumors that circulated on social media. Furthermore, it reported that the authorities took over the case from the beginning and that, for security reasons, an agent of the National Police remains guarding the artist in the hospital. According to the medical report, the young woman was shot in the right leg, at the height of the femur, with the bullet entering and exiting. According to a police report, the incident occurred when she was riding a motorcycle with her sister, at which time two unknown individuals intercepted her and took a purse with cash and other personal items. Authorities reported that investigations continue to identify and capture those responsible for the assault.
