More than 4 million people visited Christmas Village

Santo Domingo. - Villa Navidad closed its most recent edition with resounding success, solidifying itself as one of the most important and well-attended Christmas events in the region. During its celebration, from December 1st to January 5th, the event received more than 4 million visitors, a historic figure that reaffirms the impact, acceptance, and sustained growth of this initiative. Christmas Village opened its doors daily from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., in Santo Domingo and Santiago, expanding the schedule and the number of shows and activities over several days, in response to the massive attendance and the public's enthusiasm.

Entire families were able to enjoy a diverse program that included artistic presentations, musical performances, cultural activities, children's areas, and experiences designed for all ages. This achievement was made possible thanks to the extraordinary work of the production, technical, and artistic staff, who demonstrated a high level of professionalism, dedication, and commitment, ensuring an organized, safe, and quality experience for millions of visitors. "Villa Navidad is a reflection of what can be achieved when offering the public healthy and safe entertainment for the whole family, using art as a meeting point on such emblematic dates as Christmas," expressed José Pintor "Pinky", director and producer of the event. Similarly, a deep appreciation is extended to the private companies and public institutions that were part of this edition of Villa Navidad. Their support and collaboration were fundamental in making an event of this magnitude a reality, reaffirming the value of joint work between the different sectors of society. The success of the event was also possible thanks to the effort of a human team of more than 200 people involved in production and assembly, as well as more than 70 collaborators in the areas of logistics, security and services. Their dedication, coordination and commitment were key to ensuring the proper functioning of the event and a safe and high-quality experience for visitors. "It was many months of hard work, but the public's response reaffirms the importance of this type of participatory events and the growth of the orange industry in mass activities," said José Grateraux, executive producer. Villa Navidad also reflects the Dominican government's commitment to offer citizens free, safe, and quality entertainment during the Christmas season, promoting family unity, coexistence, and the enjoyment of traditions in an inclusive and accessible environment for all. With this record attendance figure, Villa Navidad is consolidated as one of the most successful Christmas events not only in the Dominican Republic, but also in the region and Latin America, positioning itself as a benchmark and model for the organization of cultural celebrations
