Santo Domingo. - The Dominican Institute of Meteorology (https://indomet.gob.do/INDOMET), reported that this Saturday the conditions are favorable for outdoor activities, as a sunny and slightly cloudy environment will prevail in the country, due to an air mass with low humidity content plus the incidence of an anticyclonic system.
Similarly, Indomet indicated that only some morning and isolated showers are expected over Puerto Plata, María Trinidad Sánchez, Samaná, Hato Mayor and La Altagracia, as a result of wind drag and orographic effects. In the afternoon, these showers will be present in areas near mountains, especially in the Central Mountain Range.
However, for tomorrow Sunday, we will continue under the influence of the high-pressure system at various levels of the troposphere and the air mass with little moisture content, therefore, a mostly sunny sky with little cloud cover will be observed. Nevertheless, towards locations in the Central Mountain Range, local showers will occur, due to orographic effects and the northeast wind drag.

During this time of late autumn and the near start of winter, temperatures will remain slightly warm during the daytime hours, while at night and early morning they will become more pleasant and cool, especially in the mountainous areas and in the inland valleys. In addition, the presence of fog episodes is not ruled out. These conditions are due to the entry of fresh air from the northeast, associated with the occasional passage of frontal systems. National District: good weather conditions; sunny and partly cloudy environment. Santo Domingo Norte: good weather conditions; sunny and partly cloudy environment. Santo Domingo Este: good weather conditions; sunny and partly cloudy environment. Santo Domingo Oeste: good weather conditions; sunny and partly cloudy environment. Temperatures: the minimum will be between 20 °C and 22 °C and the maximum between 30 °C and 32 °C. Summary: anticyclonic system and air mass with low humidity will maintain a favorable environment for outdoor activities… normal maritime conditions on both coasts… pleasant temperatures. On Monday, the weather forecast will not show significant changes, therefore, we will again have a sunny, partly cloudy sky, without relevant precipitation, as a result of a high-pressure system (anticyclonic circulation).
