Two men caught red-handed selling exotic birds reported stolen

Jarabacoa.-Two men were arrested in Jarabacoa for selling an exotic bird, a type of macaw, which had been reported stolen from a private residence.

Thanks to the intelligence and police intervention, it was possible to locate the alleged perpetrators, who at the time of their detention had the bird inside plastic containers, in the process of negotiating it, which is why it was seized in the act of the crime.

During the intervention, a firearm with a magazine and cartridges were also seized, as well as mobile devices and the vehicle used by the detainees.

The detainees, along with the seized items, will be sent before the justice system for the corresponding purposes.
