Southern female representatives highlight benefits of Baní's Circunvalación for regional development

Baní, Peravia. – The recent inauguration of the Baní Ring Road has been enthusiastically received by legislators from the southern region, who highlighted its positive impact on mobility, the economy, and the quality of life of the population. Representative for San Juan, Elvira Corporán, thanked President Luis Abinader for “always keeping an eye on the south” and described the new road as “a cornerstone of development for the entire region”. She assured that the work will shorten distances, facilitate trade and improve access to services, which is why she called it “the road to progress”.

For her part, the deputy for Elías Piña, Millys Martínez, affirmed that the bypass will significantly reduce travel times to the most remote provinces, estimating a saving of up to an hour on her journey to her constituency. “This road eliminates the hateful traffic jams and will bring development to the most forgotten provinces of the country,” she expressed. Both lawmakers agreed that the infrastructure represents a tangible advance for the connectivity and well-being of southerners, strengthening the opportunities for economic and social development in the area.
