Santo Domingo. - The Dominican Institute of Meteorology (INDOMET), reported that this Monday, no changes are expected in the meteorological conditions in the morning and throughout the afternoon, prevailing a sunny environment, due to the presence of an atmosphere of reduced humidity.
On the other hand, however, from the early hours of the night and dawn, the passage of a weak trough and the effects of the northeast wind will cause cloudiness with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms towards locations in the regions: north, northeast, the eastern plain and the Central Mountain Range. Mainly over: Samaná, Puerto Plata, María Trinidad Sánchez, Espaillat, Hato Mayor, Duarte, Hermanas Mirabal, Sánchez Ramírez and Monseñor Nouel.
However, for tomorrow Tuesday, a slight increase in humidity and instability is expected over our territory, associated with the effects of a weak trough at various levels of the troposphere and the strengthening of the northeast wind. These conditions will favor cloud increases from morning hours accompanied by scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms towards provinces of the slopes: north, northeast, east and center of the country. Among them: Puerto Plata, Samaná, María Trinidad Sánchez, Espaillat, Duarte, Hermanas Mirabal, Monseñor Nouel and Sánchez Ramírez.
The temperatures remain pleasant and cool, especially during the night and early morning, in the mountainous areas and in the inland valleys. In addition, the presence of episodes of fog and mist is not ruled out. These conditions are due to the time of year and the entry of fresh air from the east/northeast wind.

Santo Domingo Norte: isolated clouds.
Santo Domingo Este: sunny environment.
Santo Domingo Oeste: mostly sunny.
Temperatures: the minimum will be between 21 °C and 23 °C and the maximum between 30 °C and 32 °C.
Summary: an atmosphere of reduced humidity, generating a sunny environment and scarce rainfall... Tonight, scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms towards provinces of the Atlantic coast... Pleasant temperatures tonight and early morning.
On Wednesday, the incidence of a trough at various levels of the troposphere and the effects of moderate northeast winds will be generating some scattered showers with occasional thunderstorms from early in provinces of the slopes: north, northeast, the eastern plain and center of the country, as well as increases in waves and wind gusts on the Caribbean coast.
