Abinader allocates resources for the execution of minor works in Padre Las Casas

Azua. – The President of the Republic, Luis Abinader, arranged for significant financial support for the execution of several minor works in the municipality of Padre Las Casas, through the Administrative Ministry of the Presidency, the Provincial Development Office, the National Institute of Physical Education (INEFI) and the Ministry of Energy and Mines.

Among the approved projects are the completion of the Municipal Funeral Home, the construction of a children's park, a boulevard, a gabion wall to protect the cemetery, as well as the installation of three half sports courts in the Villa Ocoa, Villa Palomino and El Cigual sectors. The placement of lamps for public lighting, the remodeling of the baseball stadium, among other community interventions, is also contemplated.

The information was communicated to Mayor Máximo Romero Aquino during a meeting held at the National Palace, headed by the Administrative Minister of the Presidency, Andrés Bautista, and with the presence of the president of the Commission for Support to Provincial Development, Elvys Duarte, representatives of INEFI and Víctor Sánchez, assistant to the president for special projects.

Mayor Romero Aquino thanked President Abinader for the support offered and highlighted that the promise made during his last visit to the municipality is thus fulfilled.

The announced works will contribute to urban development, the strengthening of public spaces, and the improvement of the safety and quality of life of the residents.
