San Juan. – The Arturo Somohano Philharmonic Orchestra of Puerto Rico will present a symphonic tribute to the repertoire of urban artist Bad Bunny in February, in a concert that will bring his music to the philharmonic format and will be staged at the Centro de Bellas Artes de Santurce. The show, titled "Benito Philharmonic," will be conducted by maestro José Manuel Febus and is part of the tribute concert series that the Philharmonic Orchestra has developed in recent years, including tributes to the Swedish band ABBA and the Puerto Rican group 440. The proposal seeks to reinterpret some of the most representative songs of Bad Bunny from an orchestral perspective, highlighting its musical and cultural value within the contemporary landscape of Puerto Rico. For the organizers, the artist's repertoire transcends the urban genre and is already part of the collective imagination of the country.

“Many of those songs by Benito, I know, more from being old than wise, that will become part of the standard of Puerto Rican music. Just as Preciosa, Brujería and No hay cama pa’ tanta gente and La conciencia exist, there are the songs that Benito proposed like Lo que le pasó a Hawái, Nueva Yol and Debí tirar más fotos”, expressed Rafo Muñiz, producer of the event.

The concert promises a different experience for the audience, by merging contemporary popular music with the sound of a symphony orchestra, reaffirming the cultural impact of Bad Bunny and his legacy in the musical history of Puerto Rico.
