Santo Domingo.- The preliminary competition of Miss Dominican Republic Universe 2025 will be held this Friday, August 8th at 7:00 p.m. in the shopping center
Sambil, as part of the official program of the contest.
During the activity, the candidates will be evaluated in two presentations: swimsuit and evening gown, in a ceremony that allows the jury to observe aspects of stage presence, development, and individual projection of the aspirants to the crown.
The evaluation of this phase will have a significant weight in the selection of the semi-finalists, as their performance in the preliminary round determines who will advance to the final gala of the contest scheduled for Sunday, August 10 at the National Theater.
The preliminary of Miss Dominican Republic will be held with access to the general public and the presence of the media, being one of the activities prior to the final where the performance on the catwalk of all the participants is observed.
In addition to the jury, representatives of the organization, sponsors and special guests will be present to follow up on this fundamental part of the selection process.
The Miss República Dominicana Universo is the pageant in charge of choosing the country's representative for Miss Universe. This year, candidates from different provinces and communities abroad are participating, seeking to represent the Dominican Republic in Thailand, the venue for the international pageant in its 2025 edition.
