Santo Domingo. – The newly sworn-in president of the Dominican College of Engineers, Architects and Surveyors (CODIA), geomatic engineer Enrique Rosario, urged President Luis Abinader to award the RD$4,000 million investment to build sidewalks and curbs in municipalities and municipal districts by lottery, in order to guarantee transparency and offer opportunities to more professionals in the sector.
Rosario described the allocation of these funds through the Dominican Municipal League as "great news", but insisted that, if done by lottery, it would "go from good to excellent", raising the quality of the works and encouraging the participation of the members.
