Queens grandma identified as woman beaten by mobster's grandchildren

New York.- The grandmother from Queens is identified as the woman beaten in an incident that authorities link to an alleged settling of scores related to the family of a well-known mobster. According to the New York Police Department, the victim was assaulted at their residence in Queens County. Investigations suggest that those responsible for the attack would be the grandchildren of a man known for his links to criminal activities. The incident occurred when the woman was surprised in her home, receiving blows that caused her significant injuries. The aggressors, identified as relatives of an alleged mafia member, fled the scene immediately after the attack.
