Santo Domingo.- With the presence of President Luis Abinader, the National Cattlemen's Association inaugurated the 38th National Agricultural Fair, which will be held from Thursday, March 12 to March 22 at the Ciudad Ganadera Julio Antonio Brache Arzeno.
For 11 days, producers, companies, institutions, and thousands of Dominican families will be able to learn about the advances in the agricultural sector, enjoy livestock exhibitions, demonstrations of agricultural machinery, and various educational and recreational activities.
In addition, they will be able to enjoy exhibitions of high genetic level bovine breeds, demonstrations of agricultural machinery, samples of technological innovation, educational activities, gastronomic spaces and cultural presentations, as well as recreation areas for the whole family.
The president of the National Cattlemen's Association, José Manuel Mallén, highlighted the importance of the fair as the main space to showcase the country's productive potential.

This year's edition also features Korea as the guest country, a nation recognized for its leadership in technological innovation and smart agriculture, which will strengthen the exchange of knowledge and experiences for the modernization of Dominican agriculture. In this edition, the fair will feature the participation of about 70 farms, which will present a diverse sample of breeds and production lines. The livestock exhibition will bring together 515 bovine animals, highlighting 278 dairy aptitude specimens, along with about 400 goats and sheep. The event will also integrate a prominent equestrian lineup with 330 horses that will compete in disciplines such as Paso Higüeyano, Paso Fino, reining, and children's rodeo, a comprehensive offer designed to attract thousands of fans and families during the weekends."The National Agricultural Fair is the main showcase of the Dominican countryside and a meeting point between producers, entrepreneurs, institutions and society. Here the advances of the sector and the opportunities to continue strengthening national production are exhibited," said Mallén.
