Wilmer Difó joins the Giants' practices

San Francisco de Macorís. – The Gigantes del Cibao announced the integration of veteran player Wilmer Difó, who joins the Cibao team's preparation practices starting today, with a view to the next season of the Dominican Baseball League (LIDOM).

Wilmer, 33 years old and a native of Santiago, is a player with eight seasons of experience in Major League Baseball, where he wore the jerseys of the Washington Nationals, Pittsburgh Pirates, and Arizona Diamondbacks. Played in Mexico in 2025 This summer saw action in the Mexican Baseball League, characterized by its contact hitting and versatility in the infield, with the ability to play at second base, shortstop, and third base.
