KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack earns two Oscar nominations

KPop Demon Hunters (Soundtrack from the Netflix Film), the soundtrack derived from the hit animated Netflix film KPop Demon Hunters, continues to accumulate records, from managing to simultaneously position four songs in the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 chart, to being the most-watched original animated Netflix film of all time so far, now nominated for the Academy Awards in the categories of 'Best Original Song' with “Golden” and 'Best Animated Feature'. KPop Demon Hunters (Soundtrack from the Netflix Film) was recently nominated in five Grammy categories, including 'Song of the Year', 'Best Pop Duo/Group Performance', 'Best Song Written For Visual Media', 'Best Remixed Recording', and 'Best Compilation Soundtrack For Visual Media'. Likewise, at the Golden Globes, they won the award for 'Best Animated Film', and the song "Golden" won in the category of 'Best Song'. On the other hand, during the Critics Choice Awards, they won 'Best Animated Film', and "Golden" as 'Best Song', reaffirming the worldwide success of the film's soundtrack.

It should be noted that the HUNTR/X group is made up of EJAE, AUDREY NUNA and REI AMI and the Saja Boys group by Andrew Choi, Danny Chung, Kevin Woo, samUIL Lee, Neckwav and Lea Salonga. On the other hand, AUDREY NUNA, who lends her voice (music) to the character of MIRA in KPop Demon Hunters, will be visiting Mexico on May 2nd of next year at the Feria Nacional de San Marcos 2026, highlighting the importance that Mexico has within k-pop today.
