San Pedro de Macorís.- Las Estrellas Orientales continued this Sunday with the foot on the accelerator in the Dominican Baseball League championship by winning 9 to 4 against Los Gigantes del Cibao. Rodolfo Castro and Eguy Rosario hit home runs and Miguel Sanó continued his explosive start to the season as the Estrellas Orientales maintained their undefeated record by defeating the Gigantes del Cibao. Castro hit his second home run of the campaign in the first inning and drove in a run as part of the green's four-run attack in the fourth chapter, in which Sanó hit a two-run double, to reach eight RBIs in the four games he has played in the Dominican championship. Rosario put his stamp of power in the third inning, when he sent the ball over the wall of the Tetelo Vargas stadium, in San Pedro de Macorís, to bring to the scoreboard the first of four runs for the greens in that episode.
