In an official statement, the team's Board of Directors warned that any irregular approach towards their players will be taken with the utmost seriousness and could lead to legal actions or other disciplinary measures to protect the organization's contractual rights. The directive highlighted that the club maintains an open stance for dialogue with other interested institutions —including organizations from Asian baseball— as long as the conversations are carried out in a professional, transparent, and compliant manner with the clauses established in the current contracts. "We value respectful and constructive relationships between organizations and prioritize, above all, the well-being of our players. However, these processes must be developed within the legal framework and under the corresponding contractual rules," the team reiterated in its statement. Los Tigres del Licey thanked all the actors of local and international baseball for their understanding and respect for the agreements signed with their players.
